What is Narrative Text?
Narrative Text adalah teks yang menceritakan kisah nyata atau imajinasi dengan tujuan menghibur dan memberi pesan moral.
Generic Structure:
- Orientation: Mengenalkan tokoh, tempat, waktu. Ex: Once upon a time...
- Complication: Masalah atau konflik yang terjadi
- Resolution: Penyelesaian masalah dan akhir cerita
Language Features:
- Past Tense: went, ate, found
- Time Connectives: first, then, finally
- Action Verbs: run, jump, fight
- Direct Speech: "Help me!" she said.
